The Indian River Drive Freeholders Association

CONSTITUTION
AS AMENDED ON April 10, 1969
Reviewed and ratified with no changes at a special meeting for this purpose on February 20, 1986

ARTICLE I

The name of this organization shall be "INDIAN RIVER DRIVE FREEHOLDERS, INC."

ARTICLE II

The purposes of this organization are:  to effect adequate zoning, policing, fire protection, garbage disposal, sanitation, improvements, and to transact such other business as the organization may deem necessary.

ARTICLE III

Membership is limited to Freeholders in the zoned area of Indian River Drive.

ARTICLE IV

The zoned area of Indian River Drive consists of that area in St. Lucie County bounded on the North by the South City Limits of the City of Fort Pierce;  on the West by the FEC Railroad's East right-of-way line;  on the South by the South Line of the North 25.50 chains of  Lot 1 of  Fractional Section 29, in Township 36 South, Range 41 East, running from the East right-of-way line of the FEC Railroad's right-of-way East to the Indian River;  and on the East by the Indian River.

ARTICLE V
Administration

Section 1.  The Officers of this organization shall be:  President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and Treasurer.

Section 2.  The Board of Directors shall consist of the President, Vice President, and five others, elected as hereinafter provided.

Section 3.  Any vacancies among Officers and Directors shall be filled by election by the Board of Directors, until the next general meeting.

ARTICLE VI

Section 1.  This constitution may be amended at any meeting, by a quorum as hereinafter provided, following written notice to members 10 days before the meeting.
